This is the place for the music that I put on a CD to send out to potential publishers to demonstrate the range and styles of music that we played on KFAT, along with the CD cover, a song list and a warning that there were clicks and pops when we played 'em, and they're still there on the songs you'll hear soon. Song list, warning, CD cover, then songs. Some songs take a few seceonds to start (Track 1!) andf don't worry about what happened top Track 5- it got stolen. I wish you could download 'em...

Unfortunately, you can't download them. For that, I need to open a "store" where you can buy them, and then if I want, I can give them away, but until the book comes out, I don't want a store. I'll work on this and make them uploadable if I can find out how to give them away free.  If you can figure how to download these, let me know and I'll pass it on. Enjoy 'em, dammit!

THIS JUST IN: M.B. just posted on Facebook that he downloaded all these songs onto his ipod with no trouble. So there you go. Thanks, M.B.

                         Whoa, Just A Minute, There…
Before you listen, let me tell you something. I put this CD
together from the tapes I made of KFAT before it went
off the air. I have about 25 of them, and I chose what I
wanted from those, so I had a limited selection, but I did
real good. All the songs have the clicks and pops when we
played ‘em.  If I wanted a song that was part of a segue,
but I didn’t want what came before or after it, you’ll hear
an abrupt start or end.  You’re tough- you’ll get through it.
Another thing is that the Stevie Ray Vaughn song is great,
man, but I only wanted stuff that people wouldn’t have in
their collections, and I used the song before I knew who it
was, but I kept it because it’s great- and it’s Fat.  He was
awesome. Another thing: Robert Plant and Allison Krauss are
brilliant and rightfully acclaimed artists, and their “Killing the
Blues” is great, but the original version from Woodstock artists
Happy and Artie Traum kicks its ass. I’m just sayin'. This is a
home-made, funky CD, but it’s Fat and where it’s at!
